In Loving Memory
Reeces Firehawk 5/5/99 - 9/12/06

Hawk was one fantastic and sweet horse. He is thought of daily. He was purchased as a yearling and was shown as a yearling and 2 year old. In 2001 he was AMHA Top Ten Honor Roll in AOTE Exhibiting Stallion and Amateur Junior Stallions, Level 2. He retired to just run around the ranch. We brought him back out in 2005 as a gelding. He then went to the Bar NS Ranch to be trained to drive by Gary and Lisa Barnes.

In 2005 his honors included AMHA Top Ten Honor Roll Gentlemens Country Pleasure Driving and Amateur Country Pleasure Driving Level 2, Central Championship Reserve Champion Gentlemens Country Pleasure Driving, Central Championship Country Pleasure Driving Over 32"-34" (6th place), Central Championship Country Pleasusre Driving-Ladies (9th place), Central Championship Country Pleasure Driving-Geldings (7th place), Central Championship Ladies Roadster (3rd place), Cenral Championship Amateur Country Pleasure Driving Level 2 (4th place) and World Champion Ladies Roadster (8th place). He had a fantastic record for his first year of driving.

Hawk came back home after the 2005 season. He did really good at all the local shows in 2006. At the Central Championship Show he received Reserve Champion in AOTE Roadster, Central Championship Amateur Roadster (3rd place) and Central Championship Amateur Country Pleasure Driving Level 2 (5th place).

We were really geared up for the 2006 World Show till Hawk became unexpectedly ill just a few weeks before the show. He always gave all and was a trooper till the end. He will forever have a place in our hearts.
